Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept Visa, Mastercard and Debit Cards.

Shipping And Handling

UK Only: Orders over £50 in value will be shipped free of charge. All other orders will be charged £3.50 postage and packing.

Delivery Schedule

We endeavour to despatch purchases within one working day and will normally deliver them by Royal Mail first class post. Please allow 3-5 days for delivery.
Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges

As of 1st January 2010 the VAT rate returns to 17.5%. Nova is happy to absorb this increase and will not be passing on any additional costs to customers.

Credit Card Security

We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Returns Policy

Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within seven days of delivery. However, we regret that we cannot accept cancellations of contracts for the purchase of Perishable Products, Personalised Products or Sealed Products where the seal has been broken.

For all returns please follow the procedure at the bottom of this page.

FAULTY GOODS. Please inform us within seven days of the goods being received. We will be happy to refund the cost and all postage charges incurred by you for any goods acknowledged by us to be faulty, providing such faults have not be caused by your misuse, negligent or improper handling. The refund will be processed once the goods are returned to us.

WRONG ITEM. If we send you the wrong item please inform us immediately and return it to us. We will then replace it with the correct item and reimburse you for the cost of postage. The refund will be processed once the goods have been returned to us.

UNWANTED GOODS. If you wish to return any non-faulty goods to us please inform us of your decision within 7 days of receiving the goods and return them to us at your own expense, in a fully resalable condition with undamaged packaging where relevant. We will be happy to refund the cost of the item and the original delivery charge once we have recieved the goods from you. Please note, if the goods are not returned in a fully resalable condition we reserve the right to refuse to offer a refund.

RETURNS PROCEDURE

1. Contact us by email at info@novagifts.co.uk to inform us of your decision to return goods. Or phone us on 01224 641270.

2. Securely wrap any goods to prevent damage in transit and return to the following address with details of the reason for return and order number which you will find on your packing list;

3. For your own security we recommend that you retain proof of posting as we cannot be held responsible for any goods lost in transit.

4. Refunds will be processed once we have recieved the unwanted goods and not before.

5. Refunds will only be credited to the credit or debit card used to make the original purchase.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
